At Ascent Public School, the safety, security, and well-being of our students are of paramount importance. The campus is equipped with a comprehensive and technologically advanced CCTV surveillance system, ensuring constant monitoring and a secure learning environment. These high-resolution cameras effectively cover all areas, including remote zones, and function efficiently in both low-light and bright daylight conditions.
Strict entry protocols are followed, and all parents and visitors are required to register their details at the gate before entering the premises, ensuring transparency and controlled access.
Key Safety Measures
- 1. The entire campus is under continuous CCTV surveillance.
- 2. School buses are equipped with GPS tracking systems and CCTV cameras to ensure safe and monitored transportation.
- 3. All buses are operated by trained and verified drivers, accompanied by lady conductors/attendants for student safety and care.
- 4. Lady attendants are also present to supervise younger students during transit.
- 5. A well-maintained visitor management system is in place for all individuals entering the campus.
- 6. Trained, full-time security personnel are stationed at the school gate and key points within the campus.
- 7. Students are not permitted to leave the campus without an official out-pass issued by the school authorities.
- 8. The school is securely enclosed by a well-constructed boundary wall on all sides.
- 9. Regular safety drills (such as fire and evacuation drills) are conducted to prepare students and staff for emergencies.
- 10. The campus is equipped with fire safety systems, including extinguishers and emergency exits.
- 11. First-aid facilities and basic medical support are readily available within the school premises.
